When Not To Treat

for Smokybrown Cockroach

A single roach outdoors, or one that wanders in with no droppings, egg cases, or repeat sightings, does not warrant pesticide treatment; fix moisture and close entry points first. Since baits and sealing carry the load in cockroach control, reaching for a spray before inspecting and clearing harborage is the wrong first move.
